Dana serves as special counsel for Moyles IP. Prior to working with the firm, she was a partner with a large national law firm. She has also served as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 corporation.
Dana has considerable experience with domestic and foreign patent prosecution with an emphasis on the chemical, mechanical, and materials science arts.
She has represented clients in various technology areas, such as medical devices and products, flexible packaging, cartons, floor coverings, microwave energy interactive materials, heat transfer labels, and recycled paper products.
Dana also has significant experience with post-issuance procedures in the USPTO, including reexamination and inter partes review proceedings. She has also assisted with patent litigation, including preparing invalidity opinions and developing strategies to defend against claims of patent infringement.
Dana was selected as a “Super Lawyers Rising Star” in 2009 and 2010.
As a former chemical engineer for a Fortune 500 company, Dana received two U.S. patents for her work in the design of chemical treatments and treatment systems for nonwoven materials for consumer and medical applications.
